NCC is the world’s largest uniformed youth organization, boasting an estimated strength between 1.4 to 2.3 million cadets across India, and operating directly under the Ministry of Defence. The College has an active National Cadet Corps (NCC) cell. Enrolment is offered on a voluntary basis, and candidates must successfully complete various qualification stages. It is open to UG and PG students of the college. Cadets receive basic military-style training—including drills and small arms handling through camps organized at zone, state and central level.
