Annual Report

‘Where the mind is without fear, where the head is held high’ with this ‘Mission’ and aim St. Wilfred’s Education Society began its journey in 2001 with a handful of courses and a few students. In mere two decades, the group has broadened its horizons, it is running 50+ professional and academic courses. The group boasts of 10,000 students in its field. We have maintained the standard of all round world class education. Our college has taken consistent efforts to enhance the quality the quality of organisation in terms of academic, co-curricular, curricular, research, extension and outreach activities.

A Department meeting was scheduled in the month of July to gear up all the faculty members before commencing the new session. The faculty members were briefed for the smooth working of the department.

In order to start a new session with positive attitude A Six Day Faculty Development Programme was conducted by the Principal of The College. We think that only a knowledgeable academician can provide new students with a high-quality education, so an update on new teaching methodology was imparted to all the faculty members.

The new students were warmly welcomed by the principal, vice-principal, and faculty members as they began a new stage of their academic lives, with the academic session (2023-24). Their time in high school was over, and they were preparing to start their college life. On their very first day of college, students were introduced to their respective course structures, regular classroom settings, and teachers.

August was a month of celebrations as we joyfully observed Janastami, the birth of Lord Krishna, Independence Day and Ganesh Chaturthi . NSS wing organized Plantation Day ,it was a humble effort by the students to make our campus Green. Raksha Bandhan was observed by keeping a rakhi-making competition for all the students.

To honour and pay gratitude to our respected teachers Teacher’s Day was celedrated by the students. Students showered their love to the teachers by giving them cards and gifts. They also gave their performances show casing their talent and respect towards them.

The College also held the Freshers’ party 2023 ‘Nav-Manjri’ in the month of September. It was themed around the varied cultures of India, and senior students dazzled the audience with a variety of programmes,they displayed their music talent , dance, stand-up comedy, drama, and other performances. In the fresher’s ramp walk, the newcomers displayed their hidden skills.

Happy Nagari was organized by Tenacious Club in the month of December. Our Scholars participated in inter-college Science Quiz . Midterm Exams and Pre-University exams were scheduled for U.G and P.G students so as to prepare them for University Exams and the result was declared for the students to analyse their writing skill and Parents were given a complete update on their performance in the exam.

Research and innovation cell-IPR, of the college organizes, the activities of creating and commercializing fresh concepts and putting forth novel ideas. It covers new development and research among its students and faculties as well. Various workshop/ seminars were organized like, National Webinar On Awareness of Intellectual Property Right, the Resource Person was Dr.Usha Rao (Asstt. Controller of Patents and Design, Ministry of Commerce and Industry Govt. of India ,New Delhi) on 4 February 2023.

IDP organized “A Study Abroad Event “at Radisson , Jaipur City Centre, for students. There was a free entry for the interested students.

Employees may advance their education, skills, and careers with the aid of employer- sponsored education benefits without having to take on a substantial financial load. With this concept many employees were give financial assistance to attend seminars, workshops and conferences. Dr. Fareeda Hasani, Dr. Dileep Kumar, Dr.Rajani Vyas, Dr. Ajay Kumar Tiwari, Dr. S.K. Gupta, Dr.Naveen Kumar, Dr. Kapila Parihar etc. were encouraged to attend conferences in University of Rajasthan and other institutes.

In collaboration and guidance of Jaipur Traffic Police , NSS wing organized “ A Road Safety Awareness Programme”. A Blood Donation Programme , Swachh Bharat Abhiyan were few other socially beneficial events organized by NSS wing of the college.

To celebrate and honour womanhood, the auspicious Navratri was celebrated with great enthusiasm by having Dandia and Graba , cultural night. Students and Faculty members were appreciated for their efforts and prizes were awarded in various categories, for best costume, best dance performance, best jewellery etc.

To keep the Stock Registers upto date and to keep a tab on requirement of Chemicals, Glasswares , Classwork materials an Academic Audit was done. Requirements for the current session were placed.

Diwali was celebrated in the college by organizing a Rangoli Competition. Best Rangoli was awarded. With this event students went on Diwali break.

Several activities ranging from celebrating Sanvidhan Diwas, International AIDS Day,Drill programme by NCC Wing , Blood Donation Camp by NSS Wing , Nukkad Natak “Nari Teri Yehi Kahani” was orchestrated by the students of our NSS Wing. In keeping up with the NSS motto” NOT ME BUT YOU “, Seven Day Camp was arranged for the students to impart them with the training of self-discipline and self-sacrifice.

Organ Donation Awareness Programme were some of the other highlight Programmes, organized for the students. Enactment of the proceedings of the Parliament as “Youth Parliament” was beautifully done by our Political Science Students. The efforts of our students were well appreciated by all.

To mark 75th year of being in Republic India , College students displayed their talent by participating in variety programme . An Alumni Meet, was organized for the UG and PG, students .

Month of February was a very important month as the NAAC Team visited us and after 2 days of through inspection , our college was granted “A” accreditation . All the members of St. Wilfred College were thrilled by the grade we achieved because of our hard work and continuous work. February month was decorated by celebrating Basant Panchami ,Sports Week and a one day awareness programme on World Cancer Day. .A Webinar on Wealth Awareness was scheduled in the month of March . March 2024 is the month of various

cultural and academic activity, students from all the colleges of Jaipur participated in Inter college Cultural fest PANACHE. Prizes were awarded to the winners and consolation prizes were given to many participants to boost up their morale. In March ADIEU 2023-24, a Farewell Party for our passing out students were organized by the junior class students for their beloved and dear seniors. Annual Day Celebration was the last and most awaited programme of the session 2023-24, The function was a grand success, celebrating the success of our academic toppers, sports achievers, cultural whiz and all rounders in the field of arts,science and commerce

The Session came to an end with the preparation leave for university exam and commencement of Rajasthan University Examination 2023-24.
